Welcome To Pabna Textile Engineering College, Pabna

Pabna Textile Institute was upgraded in Pabna Textile Engineering College (PTEC) to conduct B.Sc in Textile Engineering degree in Bangladesh. Administrative activities controlled by Directorate of Textile (DOT), Ministry of Jute and Textile. This College is affiliated by Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) for certification of four (04) years B.Sc. in Textile Engineering degree. Its academic journey has launched since 2006 with four departments by 80 students. Number of enrolment students was increased from 80 to 120 since 2015.

The College has an administrative building, an academic buildings, a cotton spinning building, a wet processing building, a workshop building and a jute shade building. Three residential halls provide students’ accommodation, one is for female students and another two are for males students. There are also a Mosque, a residential building (Padma) for faculty members and another residential building (Jumuna) for stuffs.

It is with great pleasure & honor that I introduce myself, Engr. Md. Solaiman, as the new principal of Pabna Textile Engineering College. My passion for education and the success of all students has been shaped over my years of serving as a Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Head of the department, and principal. In each role, I have sought to ensure the success of each student and College as well university by providing the quality educational and extracurricular opportunities possible.

I want that our students should be imparted an all-around education so that they become multidimensional rather than uni-dimensional. We highly emphasize the development of students’ healthy self-esteem, positive attitude, confidence, responsibility, and leadership quality and after all, making them well accomplished human beings so that they can participate in national and international level co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Pabna Textile Engineering College has started its journey on B.Sc in Textile Engineering by the following departments since 2006 except Department of Textile Fashion & Design.
